A Huge Thank You

Before I do an update on the fires, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that has used my blog over the last few days.
Its a shame bad news makes viewing figures grow, but that is how it is, and people have been searching to make sure friends and family are safe, and just keeping up to date with the news from Madeira.
I have had so many lovely emails from you all thanking me for all the updates, and I hope I have replied back to you all, I still have about 10 to reply to which will happen today.

Viewing figures shot through the roof over the last 2 days, with over 56,000 page views yesterday, and 42,000 from the day before as you can see from my stats below.

Already over 5000 page views today.

So once again a great big thanks, and over the coming weeks the blog will be moving to a new system, which will make it better, and I will let you know when this happens.

Please keep sending messages if you need any help or advice.

Tobi.  :-)

  10. Thank you for the regular updates. We travel to Madeira once a year, for only one week at a time, but consider it to be our second home. We were very distressed to see the news but your blog has now assured us that things will return to normal soon. Thank you for pointing us to the fund. We will certainly contribute.
