The day of the Flower Festival parade on Sunday where 18 million euros was spent, making it a very successful day.

Flower Festival 2016

Well the first 3 months of the year have flown by, and now we are in April, which means the island is getting ready for Flower Festival.

One of the busiest tourist attractions of the year, the festival will start 7th April with the opening of the Flower carpet and displays. Sunday 10th will see the Main Parade, and the following Sunday 17th the festival comes to a close with a classic car parade.

Flower Festival 2015

2 more days and the Flower Festival (Festa da Flor) gets underway. One of the most popular tourist attractions, the island is quickly filling up for the big event.

The Flower Carpet and exhibition will be ready for Thursday, Saturday the children build the wall of hope in Municipal Square, and Sunday you have the main Parade starting at 4pm.
