Body found in Sea

Just a bit of other news just come in and again I am afraid it is not good.

The captaincy of the port of Funchal today collected a body in the high state of decomposition 1.5 km from the lido Island, after the alert was given by a diving company.

"The warning was given by a diving company that spotted the body and we have mobilised the means to collect," said the commander of the Maritime Zone of Madeira, Félix Marques.

Due to the advanced state of decomposition, "could not identify who it is," he said.

The body was taken to the new pier of Funchal, where he was the Judicial Police, who "collected evidence" for possible identification.

The head of the maritime authority in the archipelago said that in this "type of cases, the police find the list of missing persons a chance of identification."
