So the news has been all over the news websites worldwide, about Susan Brown swimming for the Cruise Ship Marco Polo.
The Telegraph seem to have a Photo of Susan in Madeira on Saturday at an Easter Mass in Funchal.

I met the 3 Fishermen in Santa Cruz yesterday, Marildo Freitas, Leonardo Correia and Carlos Tareco, found Mrs Brown in the ocean about 500 meters from shore, they had just gone out that evening for a fishing trip and were 200 meters from shore when they could hear cries for help.
They also told me the likely point in which Mrs Brown would have jumped into the sea, due to the currents its the most plausible place and just a 5 minute walk from the airport, just by the cemetery over the road from the airport. There is a walkway down to the sea, and the cruise ship would have been passing this location.
Another 30-60 minutes in the water and for sure Susan would have died, She was lucky the sea was calm that evening and the moon almost full, so there was good light, but she has these 3 men to thank as they have saved her life, and all the praying she was probable doing wouldn't have helped if these men hadn't been in the area.

Hi Tobi,
ReplyDeleteat first I thought this story would be an early april joke.
If someone would have wrote this as a storyline for a movie, no one would accept it, because it's too unbelievable ;-)
*thx* for the investigations and also the pics, so now I know where we could go swimming, if we are early at the airport and the plane is late :-)
*greetings from germany*
(this story also can be found in german newspapers)
