TAP confirm suspension of route between London/Madeira

Not good news for a lot of people.

This I have just copied straight from the Diario using Google Translate.

The chief executive of TAP today confirmed the news by DAILY advanced end-of-week that the national airline will end the route Funchal / London / Funchal early as January.
Fernando Pinto explained that it is a "temporary suspension" in the winter, "where there is a sharp drop", which will be reviewed in the summer.
On the privatization of TAP, revealed that there are good candidates. "They are credible candidates," said Fernando Pinto during the usual company Christmas lunch with journalists.
For the manager,   more important than the nationality of the future owner of TAP, it will be important to gauge its ability to "assist in the development of TAP, bring synergies and good results, and have the financial capacity to support the company's expansion."
"  This is a process in which all stakeholders are aware of the importance of privatization of TAP for Portugal and thus will not do anything that harms the country, "he said.
The administrator again criticized the strike at TAP and posted losses of 5 million euros for each day of downtime, so that the accumulated losses in 2014 by strike effects, already stands at 25 million euros.
