Man throws himself off bridge.

A man threw himself off the bridge at Praça da Automonia this morning into the river below, (maybe discontent with the Christmas Lights?)
The police were soon on the scene to rescue the man from the sea who was in some distress being bashed against the tetra-pods.
He suffered injury to his upper limbs.

The questions are being asked, why were the police throwing him a ladder, and where were the sea rescue????

    I read the news this morning and it was misleading as the headline read the man was shot!

    Hi Sam, yes the translation does translate to being shot, but he threw himself. :-)
