Fireworks New Year

Madeira will try to regain the Guinness world record for largest firework display in the world. This New Year the amount of fireworks will be up 170%.

Madeira held the world record for largest display from 2006 until this year when Dubai saw in the new year with a display of more than 479000 fireworks.

    Wow - that's excellent news - so glad we will be there! We were there for the display in 2006 and what an event it was, truly magnificent! I am so excited already about our next trip over and the fact that we will also have the new front sea works to enjoy, is going to make it even more memorable than usual!
