Heavy rain.

Heavy rain is forcast over the coming hours.

Madeira has been put on red alert for heavy downpours over the mountain regions of Madeira,  this in force between midnight and 6am Tuesday.  orange alert is also in force for high ground from 6pm Monday - 9am Tuesday.  Yellow alert is in force for the same time period for lower levels and Porto Santo.
