Praça Autonomia

The new Praça Autonomia is looking almost complete. Things seem to be moving pretty fast along the front of Funchal now ready for it to be opened before the Christmas season kicks in.

    Wow - that's amazing how different it looks from when we were there in July! Looks really good. I can't wait to see the completely finished sea front - it's going to be fantastic. I bet the locals will be pleased to have a proper road system back in place again and those that catch the buses will not have to put up with all the dust and noise as they wait for the bus to arrive! Really excited about our New Year visit to see it all - yippee!
