IMPORTANT News about my blog.

Hi All, 

I have been in the process of changing my blog over to the WordPress platform. 

This change is nearly complete, and will happen over the next day or two.

Photos in the blog in Blogger, could not be transferred, so all photos have had to be entered manually, which I have had help with from a good friend, all photos in the early posts (first 2 years) are still being uploaded, but will eventually be complete in the next week or so.

WordPress is totally new to me and a little more complicated than blogger, but I have been learning from YouTube videos, and over the coming years I hope my blog grows as much as it has in its first 4 years. 

if you signed up to the blog with your google account, you may need to sign up again, as I have not found a way to transfer you over. 

I hope the blog is easy for you to sign up, and also leave comments. 

If you notice any problems with the new blog please let me know and I will see these problems are dealt with quickly. 

So once again, a huge thank you for all your support, and will see you on the New Look Blog very soon.

Blog Post 1000th / Blog Upgrade

Hi all.

This is my 1000th blog post.

My blog has been going for nearly 4 years now and it has grown and grown over those years.

I hope to continue to bring you news and more from Madeira over the coming years and watch it grow even further, and look forward to the next 1000 posts.

Now some of you may know, that at the moment I am in the UK, I have been here for 2 months, and think I will be here a little longer. I am still trying to bring you as much news and information as I can, but I am pretty limited with internet and mainly relying on Wifi cafes.

If anyone has any stories, information or selection of photos they would like me to share then please send to me.

While I am in the UK, I am looking at upgrading my blog to a better platform, and having all information copied over, this will take a bit of time, and I will be sure to let you know when I start this.

It is also going to cost money to make these changes, as well as continual hosting costs. My blog does generate a small amount of money from the Google Adverts, so I want to thank anyone who clicks on these.

Greg Snell in Madeira

Travel blogger and Photographer Greg Snell has visited our island for the last couple of weeks, and has shared a couple of videos for us. He also enjoyed his 30th birthday here. 

3 years...

My blog turns 3 today. Thank you all so much for all your support, your comments, the lovely emails I receive and we look forward to the next year.
