Emergency at Sea

A German national travelling on the cruise ship Mein Schiff 3 was airlifted by helicopter to Madeira airport.
The person believed to be 72 years of age was taken ill on the ship 133 miles south of Madeira, and is due in Funchal Port tomorrow afternoon.
The patient was then transported to Dr. Nelio Mendonca Hospital in Funchal.
