The Airports of Madeira will provide self-service check-in,
a measure aimed at ensuring that significant improvement of quality of service
provided to passengers.
This service is now available for passengers traveling in
the TAP and SATA companies, however, in the near future, will also be
accessible through other airlines join this service.
The kiosks for self-check-in are on the 1st floor of Funchal
airport and also in Porto Santo.
Identification is "performed manually by entering the
number of the electronic ticket or reservation number, discharging the passport
itself, any credit cards with magnetic strips, or already printed boarding
pass.
