A very windy stormy night, waves of 7 meters, and many boats have been sunk in Santa Cruz and Machico Marinas. I have just had a look at Reis Magos and the beach has almost gone with the sea taking all the stones, and I would think this is the same in many more places.
The Beatles Boat has also been a victim of the sea, its reported that the boat has sunk at Caniçal where it was being held, while decisions were made what to do with it.
