MIUT setup damaged

The tent and sound system set up n Machico for this weekends Madeira Island Ultra Trail (MIUT) has been damaged over night with the strong winds that the island has been experiencing.

Its not yet know the cost of damage.

The airport is also experiencing some problems with the strong winds today, the Lobo Marinho ferry to Porto Santo was also cancelled this morning.
