Rain

Madeira is on a yellow alert warning till 6pm today for rain which could be thundery at times. Rain is much needed on the island as it has been one of the driest winters.  There is also a yellow alert in place for strong seas film 3pm.

Some other news which will please many is the tunnel at Praia Formosa was reopened yesterday. This tunnel was closed (and is frequently closed) after bad weather earlier in the year.
