Important Information for Alojamento Local licence holders (AL)

My friend Samantha Cox has written some very useful information on her Madeira Active site for anyone renting their villa or apartment for Short-Term Rentals/ Holiday Rentals. Everyone with AL licenses should receive a letter very soon.


"Today, a recorded delivery letter from the Camera arrived, with a 3 page blurb of officialness...now requiring that I, by law as an AL licence holder need to register with SEF and that I have 15 days to it. A copy of the internal letter sent to them from SEF was attached and I went into panic mode."
