This years end of year fireworks display will have 35 stations, and an investment of 1.046 million euros, against 945 thousand euros in 2013.
This years display will have almost double the amount of fireworks, but much smaller ones with a variety of colour. The amount of fireworks will be 130,014 and should give a much different display to previous years.
10 cruise ships will be in the bay of Funchal to see the show, with an estimated 20,000 people.
