Daniels Mother Lydia Freitas has been released and will await further charges. As it stands she must report to the Police every Tuesday and Friday and con not leave the region. The mother staged the kidnapping of baby Daniel with the plan to sell the child.
There is no reference as to whether she will be able to have contact with her 2 children.
