Almost Cherry time...

The cherries are almost ready. I love driving through Jardim Serra at this time of year to see the cherries becoming ripe on the trees. Very shortly we will all be enjoying them.
The fruit stalls are now out round the island selling all the seasonal fruits for the summer, I love this time of year.

    I also love visiting the various fruit stalls at this time of year. The cherries are excellent and all of the fruit is just so sweet and delicious. Nothing nicer than taking a bag of fruit to the beach when spending a day in the sun/swimming. Unlike the UK I have never had wasps constantly flying around me whilst eating sweet things on the beach - makes such a difference!
