Alastair Forsyth caddie dies.

Alastair Forsyth's caddie died of a heart attack at the Madeira Open golf tournament yesterday (Sunday).

The Scottish player was playing his last hole of his round when the 52 year old caddie collapsed on the fairway at the golf course in Santo Serra.

    What a horrible shock for everyone at the Golf Open :-(
    Tobi, I just wanted to say that your blog is superb. The photos from the flower festival were some of the best I have seen compared to other blogs and you really do go that extra mile to keep us informed of news on the island that you think will be of interest - and it always is!
