Five days of party at Ponta Delgada start on the 30th August - 3rd September, celebrating Senhor Bom Jesus, The budget has been cut like most festivals this year, and there will be no fireworks.
Don't forget the Gastronomic Festival in Caniço de Baixo starts this Friday 27th August, for 10 nights, and the Festival in São Vicente kicked of on Sunday, with this weekend being the busiest making it one of the largest parties on the Island.
